How to "be" on this webinar:

  • Login to the meeting 5-10 minutes early. Avoid last-minute login problems on ZOOM and give yourself extra time to settle in a quiet, undisturbed place. You will be in a virtual "Waiting Room" until 10:25 am PT at which time you can come into the Zoom room and give yourself a chance to get settled.
  • Turn your VIDEO ON. It’s important for this interactive experience to see and be seen.
  • Remain muted during the webinar unless asked to unmute.
  • During the session, Geneen will call upon participants using the Zoom "Raise Hand" function. After raising your hand, wait for Geneen to call on you by name to unmute and speak.
  • Breakout Rooms. To join small group breakout rooms during the webinar, you must join the webinar using the Zoom App (via computer, table or smart phone). Make sure your Zoom App is updated as our meeting requires version 5.2 or higher in order to participate in breakout rooms.

What to expect during the Eating Meditation:

Geneen will guide you through the meal with specific directions. For example, she may ask you to take one bite only … or to put your tableware down between bites. Mindfully eating together with Geneen unfolds moment by moment!
One of the aspects of the Eating Meditation is watching what happens in between bites, so be prepared that the inbetween time might be longer than the way you usually eat. Most of all: let yourself experience what eating this way is like. Be tender with yourself.
