The reason I keep teaching workshops and retreats after more than four decades is that I am still and evermore passionate about using the relationship with food as a doorway to the bright spirit at the center of your life. The world really is on your plate and if you are challenged by what you eat, the size of your body or your beliefs about your own worth, then it really is possible to change. But first, you have to want to. Really want to. And although I know you are silently saying, “Well of course I want to…”, the truth is that for so many of us, we do and we don’t. We do but we don’t believe it is possible because we’re schlepping our past experiences on our backs and allowing them to color this very moment. This endlessly anything is possible time. Now.
Showing up in person is invaluable. Because while you are sitting with other people, the energy is contagious. The field of possibility is endless. You realize you are not alone. You realize that there are certain concrete actions you can take, today, now, that will affect everything you eat, do, feel, think. Breaking free from emotional and compulsive eating is not a mystery, it’s not even very complex, but it does take doing something differently now. And it does take support. At our March workshop, you will get an infusion of joy, connection, as well as a vision of what’s possible and a concrete plan of what steps to take next.
